The CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Maame Efua Houadjeto, has shared how her father survived a coup led by Jerry John Rawlings, only for the former president to later offer him a government position.
"Funny enough, Rawlings became one of my favorite people.
"He even kept saying he needed to see my father and apologize," she revealed in an interview with JoyPrime.
Despite the near-tragic past, Rawlings offered her father a government role, but he declined, insisting, "I am a medical officer, I don’t want to do politics."
