Kofi Adoma's shooting incident: New details contradict earlier claims
Fresh details have emerged about the shooting incident involving Ghanaian radio presenter and journalist Kofi Adoma Nwanwani.
According to sources, the incident took place on December 21, 2024, during the 25th-anniversary celebrations of Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II at the Abranpredease palace in Dormaa.
Contrary to claims made by Kofi’s wife, who suggested a different timeline, sources confirm the mishap occurred during customary rituals at the palace.
The incident involved a bamboo carbide cannon placed on the handler’s shoulder, which discharged a white substance, locally referred to as "cannon," that struck Kofi Adoma’s face.
Authorities acted swiftly, ensuring the injured presenter was transported to Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital for immediate attention and later transferred to Berekum Holy Family Hospital for further treatment.
However, in earlier claims, Kofi's wife said no one attended to her husband, amid suggesting that the incident happened on January 14, 2025.
