Meet Abdul Majid Yakubu, popularly known as Blind Shatta, the trailblazing blind teacher, hiplife artist, and disability rights advocate from Ghana. Born on May 25, in Asante Akyem Agogo, Ashanti Region, Blind Shatta's journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and passion.
*Early Life and Education*
At 15, Blind Shatta's life took an unexpected turn when he lost his sight during a football match. Refusing to let adversity define him, he learned Braille and continued his education, attending:
1. APCE Demonstration (Basic School)
2. Josco Demonstration JHS (Bechem)
3. Wenchi Methodist SHS
4. Wesley College of Education (Kumasi), affiliated with the University of Cape Coast, where he graduated with First Class honors in Basic Education, specializing in Social Studies and Religious and Moral Education.

During his undergraduate studies, Blind Shatta discovered his musical talent. His friends coined the name "Blind Shatta" after a captivating performance, drawing comparisons to Ghanaian dancehall king Shatta Wale. Notable highlights:
